Mckeel Robins is originally from California, but has been leaving her footprints in the city of Chicago for three years now. Mckeel recently appeared at the Open Door Repertory Theatre playing the notorious role of Melody in Bleacher Bums. During the last three years, she performed Harriet Tubman: The Underground Railroad and Madame C.J. Walker: Life On Her Own, for Historical Perspectives for Children. Mckeel is a member of the Women’s Theatre Alliance and received her training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. Her film credits include Two Weeks Notice, Three Couples, The Short End, and Places Everyone.
